The Palm House is a stunning Edwardian glasshouse that has been tastefully refurbished to create a mulit-purpose venue for dining, recreation, shopping or simply relaxing.

We offer breakfasts, lunches, cream teas or simply fresh coffee and cakes in our stylish cafe-bistro, lounge or sun-deck.

To keep young children occupied, we have a specialised indoor and outdoor play area, "Blooming Kids!" * aimed at under 5s so you can relax whilst they play ( * small extra charges apply)

Our unique Gift Shop specialises in local arts and crafts, wall art, garden gifts, nautical products, fine foods, pots and ornaments.

We also offer a large ceramic studio for pottery painting. Spend time creating a timeless souvenir of crockery, ornaments, hand prints, tiles and many more items for as little as £3.50.

We also proud to offer electric bicycle hire and sales from our sales cabin in the outdoor garden area. They are a fantastic way to travel and great fun. They are suitable for 14-80 year olds but younger children can also be accommodated. Why not give them a try on the beautiful lakeside cycleways right outside our door!

Finally, The Palm House naturally sells a wide range of hardy palms, olives, foliage shrubs, herbs and other plants for gardens, patios and terraces.
